The light that guides this story
“By his light I walked
through darkness.”
Job 29:3 · KJV
Job was looking back on days when he had felt God’s care. In my own darkness, his words became deeply personal. Through His Holy Spirit, God gave me light when I could not see a way forward. That is where these stories begin.
A place for testimony
Why I am telling
these stories
Some stories take a long time to find their words. These are mine: memories of joy and hurt, moments of failure, and encounters with a grace I could never have earned.
For years, wounds from childhood reached into parts of my life I did not understand. There have been times when shame and despair seemed to fill the whole horizon. There have also been kindness, laughter, love, and the quiet presence of God.
I am telling these stories because the change God has made in my life deserves to be told. My faith in Him is unshakable, even while some questions remain unanswered and some struggles continue.
This is a place for testimony: what I have lived, what I have come to understand, and how God’s light has helped me walk through darkness. If something here meets you where you are, I hope you will stay for a story.
If this meets you where you are
God never gave up on me.
He has not given up on you.
Whatever was done to you, and whatever you have done, you are a child of God. Jesus Christ died for you. Healing is possible, even when it is slow.
